WEA logoWEA the friendly way to learn!

The WEA is a national adult education provider and charity, we have been providing learning opportunities in the local community across Somerset for many years supported by a network of loyal volunteers. We are regulated by Ofsted and partially funded by the Skills Funding Agency. We offer a range of courses that are open to anyone over the age of nineteen. This year I am pleased to announce that our long established Branch in Coleford are offering a courses on the History of British Gardening by well known speaker and gardener Sarah Darlington, followed by a fascinating course on Illuminated Manuscripts, how they were made, how they developed and the exquisite art work and symbolism, presented by art historian Sue Smith.

To learn more about these courses please phone Roger Hill-Cottingham Coleford Branch Secretary on 01373 812792. For more information about other courses and day schools available please go on-line at www.wea-sw.org.uk , phone our Learner Enquiry Line on 0845 458 2758 or pick up a brochure from your local library.
